Welcome to Greece 2025!!

Hello, friends!  Welcome to the Southeastern University Professional Counseling Greece Trip 2025!!  Each year, we take a group of Master's students to Greece for about 3 weeks to have an immersive experience in a new and different culture while they take a multicultural counseling class.  There is something so powerful about being the "other" in a culture while simultaneously learning how to sit with clients that might feel "other" than us.

As part of the experience in Greece, the students will be taking turns blogging about each day's adventures and all that they are learning, so we invite you to follow along on our adventures as we go!  We can't wait to see how we are all changed on this trip, and we hope to share some of those changes with you along the way.

We generally create shirts for each year's trip, and our shirt design for this year is pictured below.


This quote - "Our wandering is not finished" - is found in the original Olympic Stadium in Athens, where the participants would walk in the tunnels before coming out to compete.  It is a profound idea to remember that life is a journey and is about the journey, and while sometimes wandering feels pointless, it is often where we discover the most meaningful things.  So come join us these next few weeks while we wander through Greece.  We can't wait to see what we discover and uncover.
