Healing Springs


Cool waters, gentle breeze. Cloud-covered sunshine on my face. Lake Vouliagmeni is a special tourist attraction surrounded by mineral-covered cliffs and sparkling waters. The healing springs offer a unique experience for those lucky enough to immerse themselves in their beauty and serenity. My experience while at the springs was one of exhilaration and relaxation. Free pedicures are offered to those brave enough to let the tiny fish nibble at your toes and heels; the tickling sensation brings childlike laughter to the bellies of children and adults alike. The water is salty yet cool and refreshing. It encourages you to take in its grandness while floating easily; swimming occurs instinctually as a natural second. The priority is to enjoy the buoyancy of the spring’s natural saltwater while the skin absorbs its many minerals.



Spiritually, I allow myself to become fully immersed in the grandeur of His creation. The blessing and favor found on this day draw me to the Father’s heart—one that desperately desires His children to experience Him deeply and fully. Mission accomplished. The breathtaking creation allows me to be wrapped in His unconditional love. I praise Him, not for what He permits my senses to experience but for the character of His eternal goodness. 

I feel especially close to You on this day Lord. Thank You for Your creation. Thank You for Your loving kindness. Thank You for allowing me to feel You deep within my spirit. Thank You for this incredible and seemingly miraculous journey, which is my life. I ache for more and know that You will deliver. I give you praise yesterday, today, and forever. Amen.

Hello, friends!  Welcome to the Southeastern University Professional Counseling Greece Trip 2025!!  Each year, we take a group of Master's students to Greece for about 3 weeks to have an immersive experience in a new and different culture while they take a multicultural counseling class.  There is something so powerful about being the "other" in a culture while simultaneously learning how to sit with clients that might feel "other" than us.
